| Presentation copy of this enchanting and attractive little work. Inscribed and signed on the front free flyleaf: "Mead Allerton Esq. with the regards of A.G. Allerton / New York Sept. 22nd 1873". Bruns lists this as "rare" and much appreciates Allerton's humor, devotes almost 2 columns to his description and calls Allerton a "first rate nit-picker". Bruns A90; Westwood & Satchell p.4. |
