Description:
Set of 3: Gorgeous full color inner label featuring a standing portrait of aviatrix Harriet Quimby in flying attire with early airplanes and the RMS Titanic against a sunset background; matching outer and nail tag. 6¼x10¼, 4¾x4, 2½x3½, offset lithographed and embossed on coated stock.
Harriet Quimby was the first female to receive a pilot license in the U.S. She also became the first woman to fly across the English Channel. Her accomplishment received little publicity due to the sinking of the Titanic one day earlier, 15 April 1912.
