Beautifully illustrated throughout by Sterner, and signed by him on the frontispiece plate, with what appears to be an original pencil sketch in the margin of the copper-plate reproduction. Tipped to front free endpaper with tape is a small envelope containing the clipped autograph of William Curtis.
Condition:
Spine darkened, some foxing and handling soil; offsetting to pastedowns, offset to front free endpaper from removed tape; very good.
